Exercise 11,The London Library, California State Library Manly library

Canada Bay library is using flickr, only  for local studies service ,also  It has  Canada Bay Connections Blog hovewer the project targets "To preserve the library's photographic collection and at the same time provide the community with greater access to local heritage by making the images accessible through the internet." that means it is good for local studies service but not useful for the other services.

I recommend  blog and flickr for children, youth and adult services. People  will get recent information with blog , that library  provides  such as  exhibition, events, activities, new books  or information for new books. With Flickr, library can share all the photos of the library activities for kids ,adults and youth.   Also clients can  post , share  their comments.

I found  Web 2 technologies at The London Library  that have a Blog and it has facebook and twitter option to go Twitter, Blogger comments fields.   These are the links below:

Also California  State Library have really good blog that have RSS,Archive,Ask me anything  options. Also have facebook and twitter to go Twitter, Blogger comments fields like The London Library.
