How scary is that ?It is amazing .I am really wondering how many brave people used this bridge.
It was opened in 1902 and closed in 1961 due to coastal erosion.Designed by Berkeley Deane Wise .He was an excellent civil engineer also a railway engineer,This was part of the Gobbins tourist attraction at Islandmagee near Whitehead.

  1. The picture on ur blog is quite attractive, especially because it is black and white and represents the olden days, the bridge looks quite haunted and dangerous, wonder how people in those days could use this bridge.
The picture of the traffic makes me feel good, as it gives the glimpse of the olden days peaceful and quite trraffic, unlike todays maddening traffic.- Ami
